The primary functions of the position are to convert the demand plan into a feasible Master Production Schedule (MPS) for our manufacturing site or purchasing plan, while delivering service level targets at the agreed inventory investment.

Job Duties:

  1. Support planning activities of ERP systems through partnering with in-house as well as consulting resources.
  2. Participate in future ERP upgrades, migrations, and consolidation.
  3. Track purchased material shipments from suppliers (Local and overseas) to our factory and distribution center and distribution partners.
  4. Drive continuous improvement in MPS/ERP strategies, processes, and tools.
  5. Accountable for Customer Service levels and Inventory KPIs.
  6. Responsible for vendor service level tracking and performance KPIs.
  7. Compliance to the materials planning processes and policies (Ex: master data exceptions, inventory within min/max compliance)
  8. Develop and enhance MPS/DRP planning skills and competencies within the region by assessing and identifying knowledge gaps and leading relevant training sessions.
  9. Lead, coach, and develop the Supply Planning team.
  10. Escalate supply constraints/risks.
  11. Work with the functional teams to solve supply issues and balance supply and demand.
  12. Monitor and control inventory at the network of national distribution centers.
  13. Provide expert level guidance and support for optimized use of the ERP systems.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Office 365. Strong excel skills preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive action and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in process improvement.
  • Ability to work within high-performing teams in highly collaborative environments.
  • Quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs.

Education

  • Bachelors in engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
  • Supply Chain related Certifications such as APICS (CSCP or CPIM) are preferred but not required.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of Supply Chain or Business experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated results and working in a team-based, cross-functional environment.
  • 10+ years of super user / expert level ERP/WMS.

Physical Requirements – Essential

  • Strength, dexterity, coordination, and vision to use keyboard and computer monitor for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.
