The Human Resources Manager (Multi‑Site) - Huntersville, NC provides hands‑on HR support for NSI’s Headquarters and Distribution Center in Huntersville, NC, and the Distribution Center in Fort Worth, TX. The role supports both corporate and distribution employees, overseeing daily HR operations including non‑exempt warehouse recruiting, employee relations, HR administration, compliance, leave management, and safety involvement. This position ensures consistent HR support across both locations while advancing engagement initiatives, organizational goals, and a positive employee experience. The HR Manager helps maintain compliant practices, meet workforce needs, and foster a productive, safe workplace culture. This role reports to the Vice President of Human Resources.

Responsibilities
  • Support HR operations for NSI’s Huntersville, NC Headquarters & Distribution Center and the Fort Worth, TX Distribution Center, including both corporate staff and warehouse employees.
  • Serve as an operational HR partner to business leaders and employees across both sites, providing hands‑on daily HR support aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage full‑cycle talent acquisition for non‑exempt warehouse roles, including sourcing, interview coordination, candidate selection, I‑9/E‑Verify completion, and maintaining accurate onboarding documentation.
  • Lead new hire orientation for corporate and warehouse employees at both locations and maintain complete, compliant employee records within HRIS ADP Workforce Now.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, policy interpretation, performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and general employee support for both NC and TX locations.
  • Oversee HR administration, including employee record management, HRIS updates, benefits inquiries, payroll validation, and assisting employees with ADP navigation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; maintain accurate HR documentation; manage offboarding processes; and always protect confidential information.
  • Administer employee leave programs (FMLA, ADA, personal leaves) and manage workers’ compensation cases including documentation, claims processing, incident reporting, and return‑to‑work coordination.
  • Participate in safety initiatives by attending Safety Committee meetings, supporting safety audits, and reinforcing safe work practices across both NC and TX locations.
  • Lead execution of employee engagement programs, including survey communication, data review, action planning, and support for annual HR cycles such as open enrollment, merit planning, and performance reviews.
  • Provide HR support for cross‑functional corporate teams and collaborate with leaders across both sites to address workforce needs and organizational priorities.
  • Perform additional HR duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, in manufacturing, warehouse, or operational environments, with proven multi‑site support experience.
  • Experience in benefits administration, employee relations, HR compliance, workers’ compensation, leave administration, safety program participation, and HRIS utilization.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now required.
  • Required to be onsite, in office, Monday through Friday.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws applicable to North Carolina and Texas.
  • Required travel up to three times per quarter to the Fort Worth, TX Distribution Center.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Hands‑on, operational work style suited to supporting warehouse, distribution, and corporate environments.
  • Highly motivated and capable of balancing daily HR operations with strategic HR initiatives.
