We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Master Data Manager / Steward to join our HVAC Division team based in Huntersville, NC. This role is critical in maintaining integrity, accuracy, and consistency of product data across the HVAC organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in Master Data Management (MDM) and Product Information Management (PIM) and will play a key role in supporting data governance, business processes, and analytics. 

Responsibilities:
  • Master Data Management: Maintain and manage product master data, including item master and bill of materials creation.
  • Data Governance: Implement and enforce data standards, policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency of product data across systems.
  • System Expertise: Utilize Enterworks MDM system for data attribute and product information management.
  • Workflow & Integration: Experience with Enterworks Workflow and Fusion ETL is a plus.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Will collaborate with IT expertise on Template Creation, Attribute Creation, Taxonomy Updates, Workflow Process Design, and Scheduled Events.  Will partner with Product Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Sourcing, and Marketing to ensure successful item creation and data alignment.  Very Strong “Easy to do Business With” mindset desired.
  • Data Validation & Cleanup: Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Provide insights through data analysis and support business decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to data management processes and tools.
Short Term Goals:
  • Implement and Roll Out MDM Initiative.
  • Ensure all new Sellable Items Creation is in MDM system for all HVAC Division facilities.
  • Lead cross functional collaboration/work from all ERP csv import creation through which parts will now be in MDM and which will stay in ERP (Pricing, Finance, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Product Management).  Follow guidance by IT on methodology in MDM tool itself.
  • Lead collection of non PIM off line critical documents (i.e., Excel files, Drawings, etc.) into MDM storage.
  • Lead creation of different import templates for different product lines and follow IT direction for organizing/creating in the MDM tool itself.  Goal is to make it fast for the organization to grow organically by making it easy to import the least amount of product attributes for any given product line.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field (Associate’s degree acceptable with relevant experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in MDM, data stewardship, or product data management.
  • Proficiency in MDM and PIM tools, especially Enterworks.
  • Excel skills: experience with SQL, data extraction from PDFs, and data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex data structures and ensure enterprise-wide data accuracy.
  • Preferred certifications in Data Governance, MDM, or Data Analytics.
  • Preferred industry experience in manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce.
  • Preferred familiarity with ETL processes and data integration technologies.
