Position Title: Production Supervisor – Bristol, Connecticut

Metallics, a part of NSI Industries, a supplier, designer and manufacturer of custom fasteners in America. Metallics has been serving tradesmen since 1959. Metallics is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor in Bristol, Connecticut, to oversee production processes, ensure smooth operations, and monitor work quality in a dynamic textile manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of operators to achieve production goals
  • Collaborate with the team to improve efficiency and quality
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth machine operations and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Assist with preventative maintenance activities on production machines
  • Complete reports and documentation as required
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in manufacturing/distribution with 3+ years in supervisory/management roles
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing workflow
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Proficiency in M365; SAP knowledge beneficial
  • Experience with MS Office suite (SAGE preferred) and iPads
  • Strong communicator, listener, negotiator, and facilitator
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex concepts across all company levels
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and risk-taker
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Environment:
While performing this job, the employee is routinely required to stand, walk, use their hands and fingers for handling and feeling, reach with their arms and hands, and communicate verbally. Additionally, the employee frequently needs to stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift or exert force up to 50 pounds. The work environment is temperature controlled.

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
