General Maintenance Worker

The General Maintenance Worker’s primary function is to assist with the organization and maintenance of the facility and yard’s.
Job Duties:
- Must follow instruction from Lead(s) Supervisor(s) Manager(s).
- Hammering, power and manual nailing of various wood types.
- Sweeping, cleaning, blowing, and removing debris from walkways, storage areas, parking lots, etc. both inside and outside the facility.
- Pallet repair –Assembling products together per company standards.
- Communicate any issues that arise effectively.
- Safely operate machines while maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Use of assorted cutting saws and electric handheld and manual hand tools.
- Inventory restocking and inventory control when needed.
- Organizing inventory within the yard or storage area as needed.
- A willingness to work safely indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be able to work 10-hour shift Monday-Thursday.
- Must be flexible – OT and weekend are required as needed.
- Must be willing to work within multiple areas as needed.
- Basic math skills.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work as part of a team and independently.
- Ability to operate a manual/electric hand truck in and between multiple departments.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year experience reading a tape measure.
- Must pass tape measure exam.
- Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience (preferred).
- Must be in good physical condition with no limitations.
- Must be able to stand/sit and walk in one place for up to 4 hours at a time.
- Must be able to lean or bend over for periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks max 2 hours)
- Must be in good physical condition.
- Must have good eye/hand coordination.
- Must be able to lift, pull, push up to 60 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and/or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks).
- Must be able to work safely indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
