NSI Industries is thrilled to invite a passionate and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager - Utility to join our team. This role covers the Western and Central regions of the United States, working with representative agents across various markets. Ideally based near a major airport in the Western or Central time zones, this sales professional will focus on expanding our business with Investor-Owned Utilities (IOUs), Co-ops, municipalities, and national utility and industrial distributors. The Regional Sales Manager - Utility will concentrate on Polaris Utility Connectors and accessory products, driving market penetration through direct sales specifications and program development. Key responsibilities include planning, creating, and implementing strategies to secure new specifications and project business, as well as collaborating with and managing Polaris Utility Representative Agencies to ensure the execution of company strategy in their respective markets.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Report to VP of Sales – Electrical Division
  • Build relationships with IOUs, Co-ops, and municipalities
  • Network within strategic Utility customers
  • Engage National Distributors for inventory support
  • Align NSI and Polaris brand value with strategic initiatives
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans
  • Act as liaison between customers and internal teams
  • Set and monitor sales targets
  • Negotiate pricing and long-term contracts
  • Attend and follow up on trade shows
  • Collect and analyze sales data and trends
  • Present NSI and Polaris products professionally
  • Manage multiple programs with customers
  • Provide leadership and support to Utility accounts
  • Guide development of RFQ responses, contracts, and schedules
  • Work towards forecasted sales targets
Skills and Experience:
  • College degree in Business Administration or relevant field
  • 5-10 years of experience with National Utilities, EMCs, and Municipalities
  • Ability to travel 60% within a large territory
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
