Foreperson
Job Title: Plating Foreperson
Department: Plating
Exempt/Non-exempt: Non-Exempt
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises operators on the plating line, burnishing operations, and cleaning machines
- Responsible for the maintenance and proper operation of the wastewater treatment system
- Responsible for chemistry maintenance and additions to all tanks
- Responsible for tank cleanouts and all scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Direct work flow through department based on production needs
- Take water samples as required
- Inspect hoists and trollies for proper operation
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- High school or High school equivalency
- Knowledge of plumbing and basic chemistry
ENVIRONMENT:
Significant percentage of work performed with extensive noise and machinery running.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and fingers to feel
