NSI Industries is seeking a dynamic Territory Account Manager to oversee all sales activities in the Charlotte, NC metro/NW, North Carolina area. This role involves developing and implementing the national sales strategy for distribution and promoting the organization's products to end users and electrical contractors within the specified region. Responsibilities
NSI Industries is seeking a dynamic Territory Account Manager to oversee all sales activities in the Charlotte, NC metro/NW, North Carolina area. This role involves developing and implementing the national sales strategy for distribution and promoting the organization's products to end users and electrical contractors within the specified region. Responsibilities
- Call on Electrical Distribution within an assigned geographical territory
- Building the business within the territory using a variety of sales techniques
- Targeting potential customers and assessing opportunities for sales
- Arranging meetings with potential customers and selling product offering
- Cold calling companies within the territory and establishing needs.
- Putting together a list of target companies within the area
- Analyzing competitor activities in the region and assessing opportunities for business development
- Working to revenue targets and KPI’s as set by the Regional Vice President
- Networking with businesses in territory and building relationships
- Attending relevant industry events and conferences to build business
- Working closely with other territory sales managers and national account managers
- Putting together sales strategies to target large accounts
- Keeping up to date with industry news to identify opportunities for new business.
- 3-5 years of sales experience in the electrical and/or heavy industrial wholesale distributors
- Prior experience as a territory sales manager
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Adequate product knowledge and a willingness to learn
- Willingness to travel
